As you can see from the picture, the weather was not at it's best today. It basically pissed-down all day!
There was a large hole where the oven used to be, this looks slightly better.
An unfinished job. Butto thinks we should put the original doors back on, I think the netting will look just fine. It's also lighter of course so the boat must go faster
and the original woodwork is in 'a bit of a state', having been completely underwater.
The 'elektrikery-men' are still uncontactable and nothing new from Martin today. A lot of people in the club are happy to tell me what I 'should' have done vis a vis getting the engines overhauled, but there was a noticeable lack of this good advice at the time.
Ex crewmate Simon is now a proud father. Mum and daughter are doing well.
On another note, for those of you who know him, Steve on Dignity hasn't been too well. Suffering from a mystery tropical illness, at least we've all got our fingers crossed that's what it is and nothing more serious, although it's serious enough at the moment. A link to his blog below, but if all those people who sent me 'positive vibes' could do the same for Steve I'm sure it would be much appreciated. Somehow or other, it does seem to help.
