Of women and shirts

Everytime I mention a woman in a blog I get it wrong! Carolyn with a 'Y'.
I knew that, I just temporarily forgot.
Anyway, everywhere I've been I've brought a shirt as a momento, so now I
have a very tasteful (in my opinion) fairly bright red shirt from Fiji
(medium size....actually I can wear a T shirt underneath as well so the R
Plan diet is still working). Andy is hugely jealous and has rushed off to
buy something equally tasteful this afternoon
Settee back cushions have now been removed, a couple of the window blinds
taken off and they'll be washed/dried and stored (all of them that is, I
just need to get a marker pen so I can number the blinds otherwise I'll
never remember which one goes where). Fabric costs are about £3 per metre
for really colourful ethnic fabrics, so depending on the final bill for
the important work I may well go ahead and recover cushions/matresses
here.
Slightly bad news on the engine front. A bit more internal salt damage
than I might have hoped for, so work is needed as are new seals/gaskets.
Martin the mechanic said that I might get away with doing nothing, but
eventually there would be trouble so despite opinions that I'm being naive
about this, I reckon it's better to have the job done properly once than
go really cheap and have trouble in the future. The cost will probably be
around F$700/800, say about £350 for parts for both engines.
