Motivation ,motivation, motivation

Well the good news is that the toenail that was savaged by a lump of coral
and turned a dark blue colour has finally dropped off without leaving an
infected foot. The more awake of you may be thinking 'stap me vitals
Hardie, if that's the best good news he can come up with then ???????'
I realised this morning when I 'came to' to find I'd been directing the
fresh water hose at the same spot for about five gallons (4.5 litres for
those of you convering from Imperial, 3.8 + a bit from those who think in
US measures) that my motivation level was at a bit of a low level. The
last two days I think I've washed up the remaining mugs/plates/glasses
(depressingly few), gazed vacantly into the far distance for indeterminate
periods, moved items from one part of the boat to another without really
achieving anything concrete and drank a bottle of red wine last night.
So this afternoon, having invested in a curry lunch and jug of Fiji Gold,
I shall mainly be doing laundry (the colour of the water after the first
wash cycle bears a striking resemblence to that of the the Klongs that run
through Bangkok if memory serves correctly) and I may just possibly trim
my beard, what excitement! Tomorrow morning I shall take myself firmly in
hand (and you can read that anyway you want!) and finish cleaning out the
forward cabin.
