No, NOT Tobago. This is a small island in the Bay of Panama about 7nm away from Playitta anchorage. We had a very pleasant headsail only run over here, doing about 6 kts in 12/13kts of wind and are now 'snug in the lee' of a small headland. Very hot, a pleasant breeze and the water is cleaner. This afternoon I will mainly be reserecting the watermaker and contemplating my navel (or somebody elses's perhaps).
Crew 'training' has started, with Helen starting/stopping engines, manoevering the boat and sailing it over here whilst Freya was anchor-woman. It all went smoothly despite celebrating St Patrick's day yesterday. Going back in a couple of days we'll reverse roles. Me? I just gazed at the distant horizon and was heard to mutter 'make it so', Hard work!
Best news, Pam & Jim on a shopping trip this morning rang to say they'd located some 'turkey rashers' and would I like them to buy some for me...oh yes indeed ladies and gentlemen, a Kosher fry-up brekkie in a couple of days.
