Left Bartica 0630 this morning. Anchored off Roeden Rust (dropped anchor 1300 local). Broadside on to wind and current which are balancing each other out at the moment! Looks like an 0600 start tomorrow morning to head for the open sea and Trini. Just a short list of repairs:
Outboard missing a jet so U/S
Gennaker repair
Furling gear track repair:
It would be nice (?) to drain and clean the water tank as the water filters were pretty clogged up
Oh yes, the dingy has developed another leak, deep joy. (Probably lousy repair job by me).
Leak in guest aft cabin.
Better to re-plumb water maker outlet pipe into the tank inlet pipe not the overflow pipe as recommended by the manufacturers.
Ah me. I've enquired how much to go into Coral Cove marina for a week.
Boats eh?
Anyway, enjoyed Guyana, a summing up later but any place where both Customs & Immigrations shake hands goodbye, wish you a safe trip and hope you enjoyed the visit can't be a bad place.
