The 'maintenance team' were servicing the winches (YES, I know, but it should have been done before I got back). I was communing with the water tank, in a very restricted space (although easier to get to now that the old fridge is out). I have a new sender for the water guage, which of course doesn't quite fit, so was removing the access panel from the top of the tank, for a variety of complicated reasons (but it did work) when a team member came in to borrow some Allen keys. It was too difficult to describe where they were, so I extricated myself to find them. The guy looked at me, stripped to the waist and completely dripping wet (including the shorts) and uttered the words in the title line!
Things are progressing. The dingy has been taken away for repair, the winches have been done, the rigger is arriving tomorrow to fit the second spinnaker halyard, the new cockpit table will be ready in three days, I have approved the stainless-steel work so that will start probably tomorrow. Blimey Guvnor!
The yard started prepping the hull for the anti-fouling, but then it pissed with rain for three hours, so that put paid to that! I brought replacement sheets for both foresails, so that only cost a half a small fortune. The boat is tentatively booked for re-launch on Friday week.
