Monday 12^th September – Messolonghi

Richard was up early to go with Russell to get his leg checked out at the dermatologist again – he had an insect bite a few weeks ago at the barbecue and the leg has not been right since.  A relatively straight forward exercise was made more complicated as they discovered that the Greek taxi drivers are on strike today due to the EU austerity measures.  Fortunately they managed to get a lift into town and all went well at the dermatologist – hopefully the leg should be better soon. 

This evening Richard popped up to the supermarket on the bike for some protein and salad for dinner – salad so that we do not add to the heat on the boat this evening by cooking.  We have watched a DVD aboard and dried out after last night.
