Today started overcast but then pleased to say that normal service was resumed, though not quite as much of a scorcher as we are used to.

This morning we cleaned out the larder/ fridge which took a bit of time as we hadn’t done it for a while.  Some of the tins had labels falling off so I had to enlist the help of a permanent marker to prevent us ending up with rice pudding on toast further down the line.

This afternoon I got around to the washing but there wasn’t a lot to do – this better weather is helping out there so it was soon done.

Richard has worked his way round the boat emptying and repacking cupboards, and sorting out various odd jobs.

Oh, and by the way, I’m now looking forward to the rugby cup final against South Africa on Saturday (reliable sources inform me).
