Wednesday 26^th December – Lagos (Boxing Day walk)

We went for a Boxing Day walk today along the beach to Alvor, about 2 (nautical) miles each way.  Unlike the Boxing Day walks of old, we didn’t have to wrap up warm as it was hot and sunny.

On the way back we called at a bar on the beach and had a drink or two before heading back.

This evening we took our cold nut roast and duck around to Wandering Dragon and Stephen made a ‘leftovers’ pizza which worked remarkable well, though Richard was lucky to hold on to any duck as the cats, especially Yo-yo, developed a taste for it.

Following a couple of games of tri-onimoes (using the official rules this time), we retired to bed.
