Saturday 18th August – Morgat

A pleasant breakfast of pain au chocolat and fresh coffee.

The rain showers then arrived on cue and so we spent a quiet day on board, pottering around and doing a few jobs (washing for me, more plumbing for the water maker for Richard).

We think we must have been sheltered here today as the winds have been quite light (much less than forecast) with just the odd really severe gust, also no other boats have arrived today despite it being the weekend. The wind is starting to build a bit now and is moving round to the west.

We concluded the day with a gin and tonic at sundown (complete with ice from the freezer compartment in the fridge – good to know that ice will be available when we finally get to the hot weather).
