Monday 31^st March – El Puerto de Santa Maria – Puerto Sherry

Last night we had a bit of a fitful night on the river when the fishing boats started to come past every hour or so, waking us with their wash, and then this morning the ferry to Cadiz resumed its schedule – thus we all feel a bit jaded today. That said, given our experience elsewhere, we really do feel that all the boats were making a real effort to keep their wash to a minimum.

This afternoon, having restocked at the supermarket, we travelled the very short distance back down the river to the large marina at Puerto Sherry.  We hope for a quiet night to catch up; we have allotted this evening for a quiet night in!
