Tuesday 19th April – Messolonghi (Music night)

This morning the sun came out, the bread man arrived, and it was the first time this year we have been able to have breakfast in the cockpit.

After a leisurely breakfast, we cycled up to the supermarket.  Richard has bought a replacement bicycle seat reportedly more suited to the female rear and so has put it on my bike.  After a few minutes, I could confirm that the advice was right – definitely more comfortable than the old one – hurrah for the person who stole the old one – may they travel in discomfort for their sins!

When we returned, I put the stores away whilst Richard went off to find oil for the engine.  He thankfully found some having all the right ingredients having cycled the length of Messolonghi.  As ever it was in the last place he looked.  At least he can now service the engine.

The evening was spent at Andreas’ restaurant in town listening to music by Russell, Gunner and Paul.  The place was packed with people from the marina.
