Wednesday 18th June – Isla Espalmador - Ibiza

It was a beautiful morning as we relaxed over breakfast in the anchorage on Isla Espalmador.

We left around midday and had a gentle F2-4 for our short trip here to Ibiza and this fabulous little anchorage at Cala Llonga, just before Santa Eulalia.  Even better, it has remained quite quiet with only a few boats in the anchorage tonight.

This afternoon was a first – we lowered the swimming ladder on the transom and went for a swim in the clear waters in the bay.

Richard also took the opportunity to dive under the boat and check the anodes; one of which we now know needs replacing.

This evening after dinner we went ashore to a nearby hotel for a drink and ‘live’ music.  The music was definitely more ‘live’ than the audience.  However, Pyxis and Moonshadow were on hand to help the entertainment staff (who actually came to ask us) and we were soon up dancing and encouraging others with our bad dancing and even worse singing;  one lady was a little surprised when Peter dragged her in her chair on to the floor, but we think she enjoyed it and it certainly made everyone laugh J  By the time we left, people were on the dance floor of their own accord.
