Today there was more cleaning and satellite installation stuff.

Richard connected everything up but we just got the message ‘No Signal’.  He checked the cabling and the connectors and tried moving the dish around but still ‘No Signal’.  The kit was in serious danger of going back in the box and back to the shop.  Whilst pondering the problem we got on with spring cleaning ‘Pyxis’ and our list of maintenance items.

In the afternoon, Richard spoke to someone on one of the other boats who has just fitted the same system – they had exactly the same problem at first but it turned out to be a case of persevering with the positioning of the dish.  Tomorrow we will have another try.

This evening the wine tasting got more serious.  Stephen and Anne arrived with two different wines they had got from a local shop where they have large vats of wine and you just take your plastic bottles along to be filled.  Cape joined us as well and we compared the four wines side-by-side.  Unfortunately, after a few glasses, they all tasted the same L

Later, after dinner, we popped to the marina bar to meet up with some of the other folk staying in the marina and find out the latest news.
