This is easily the best marina so far.

Last night on my way back from the shower, one of the neighbours told me that I should visit the pool before I go.  “What pool?” I asked and was promptly given directions.

So, this afternoon, having been into town to visit the indoor market and chandleries in the morning, off we went to the pool, armed with book and towel.  The place is stunning.  There is a good sized pool and Jacuzzi, surrounded by beautiful shaded sofa areas for lounging on, and bars nearby – like a very good quality hotel.  It is just above the marina reception, built on the roof and available for anyone to use if you know it is there.  Wow!

Then to round off the evening nicely, Stephen and Anne invited us round to Wandering Dragon for dinner and treated us to an excellent three course supper.  The starter was Stephen’s signature dish, a dish that gets to the heart of what people really want for dinner – I won’t say what it actually is and spoil the surprise for other dinner guests J

Thoroughly sated, we retired late.
