Last night the wind got up again (a levanter blowing through from the East) and it kept us awake part of the night.  Today it had eased but was still quite strong, gusting occasionally, and during the day the bright blue skies have gradually clouded over.

It was a house-keeping day, I caught up with the washing which dried rapidly in the sun and wind (a record 10 minutes for the duvet cover), and Richard headed off to the supermarket by bike to re-stock.

This evening Peter and Carola popped around for a drink before dinner; we then had an evening of prawns and baguette with a DVD.
