Monday 24th December – Lagos 37:06.610N 8:40.494W
Today was a scorcher. As I was not feeling 100% I had a lazy day in the cockpit in my bikini reading a book. Not many times you can say you spent Christmas Eve sunbathing, so I thought it should be done.
This evening we went to see some friends who have rented an apartment for the winter rather than stay on their boat in the marina. After mulled wine and nibbles we went out to one of the bars for a drink and then headed back for a fairly early night.
After resting all day, I’m feeling much better, so that’s good. It sounds like a lot of others in the marina have caught colds this week so I’m lucky it’s not worse.
