Tuesday 10^th February – Cagliari (Shopping between showers)

After behaving itself overnight, the wind returned this morning setting up quite a chop in the harbour and causing the boats to bounce around; it brought with it some showers just for good measure.

We had planned to take the bus out to Lidl this morning but scrapped the plan and bounced around on Pyxis making sure she was safe.

After lunch the weather eased and we decided to take one of the marina’s cars out to Lidl instead of trekking by foot and bus; this had the advantage of being much quicker and we were able to fill the boot with heavy and bulky supplies.  It did however then create the challenge of where to stow everything so we then had to get around to the job of repacking the bilges, the kitchen cupboards and the aft cabin.

The weather closed in again this evening and so we spent the night on board with a film.
