Saturday 14th July – Beaulieu River to Yarmouth

50:42.5N  1:30.36W

We left Gins and motored up to Bucklers Hard to say goodbye to the Harbourmaster.  On leaving the Beaulieu River we headed off towards the Needles and, once again, the wind was strong and on the nose, and the sea was very lumpy.  So with any thoughts of carrying on down to Poole forgotten, we motored as far as Yarmouth and picked up a mooring buoy outside the harbour.

Having studied the forecast, there is a weather window for Brixham possible but unfortunately means taking the tide out of the Needles when it turns just after midnight. Off to bed early!
