Saturday 15^th November – Cagliari (Party Night)

This evening a party had been arranged at the bar for two of the residents here – to celebrate the birthday of one, and wish ‘bon voyage’ to the other as he is going out to Australia for Christmas (by plane, not boat).

Each boat took something for the buffet so this afternoon I made a quiche to take up to the party.  It is great having the different nationalities here as each brings different food which makes the buffet really interesting.

When we arrived, we were surprised to find a band playing – apparently they had arrived to drop some disco lights off but decided to stay, so they set their equipment up, and played for us all night – and they were good too.

When the band had finished, they put on some music and came out onto the dance floor and danced with everyone else.  We all had a great time. 

The party was still going strong when we left – it was going to be a late night.
