Tuesday 8th April – Puerto Sherry

Last night we woke up at 3.30am to the sound of drums – then realised that it was hail on the deck.  It went as quickly as it came and then this morning the rain set in.  It was a uniform grey sky with that ‘I’m going to be raining all day’ look about it.  And it has delivered, all day, with a side order of wind.

As the forecast had (correctly) predicted bad weather, Moonshadow had arranged for us to go there for lunch; so, we had a wonderful afternoon eating and drinking.

We left early evening so that Peter could watch his son playing handball on TV and staggered the few yards back to Pyxis.

I skyped the P’s to find out how they had got on as they have just returned from a trip to Japan; the bad weather is even messing with the internet connection so it was a fairly short call - we’ll have to catch up on sushi recipes later!
