Saturday 14^th March – Cagliari (Shorts at last)

A lovely day, warm and sunny - it was the first shorts day of the year. 

During the day I spent some time up at the gazebo, painting and helping with the art exhibition – a few more people wandered in to look at the artwork.

Richard carried on overhauling the bikes but quickly took up the invitation of going up to the local rugby club with David and Gary to watch the Wales-Italy game on the big screen instead. 

A number of naval ships are visiting Cagliari at the moment and one of them is a British minesweeper;  a number of the crew were visiting the club – enjoying a few beers with the locals over the match after playing a friendly with the Cagliari team themselves.

When they came back they found the ladies in the gazebo enjoying a small pre-dinner beer J
