Sunday 12^th July – Grand Harbour, Malta

Today started with the obligatory church bells and loud bangs from the fireworks.

Despite trying to turn over and get some more sleep, it was impossible and so we got up and had some breakfast and have worked aboard – sorting out our remaining odd jobs and admin.

The marina has been very busy today with yachts arriving from the Siracusa-Valletta yacht race and locals arriving back this evening from their weekend in Gozo.

This evening we have continued to watch the local community activities nearby.  Across the way we have the locals sitting outside playing bingo and overhead more fireworks as the festa draws to a close.
