Wednesday 1st October – Cagliari

We surfaced mid morning having got some much needed sleep.  There is a floating dry dock for large ships just alongside where we were berthed so the noise of the men working plus the tug boat working ensured we got up.

Later this morning we visited the two marinas and selected the one that we wanted to stay at for a while whilst we explore Cagliari and give Pyxis a bit of TLC after all the summer months on anchor.  So this afternoon, after a very late breakfast, we moved onto our new berth.  The marina is popular with live-aboards for the winter and has a character all of its own.

This evening Cape and Wandering Dragon joined us for drinks on Pyxis, and then we had an impromptu pasta supper aboard Cape.
