Friday 3rd April – Cagliari (Sails)

After breakfast, with little wind, we rehoisted and furled the genoa which has been bagged up in the back cabin.  We then went on to pull out the main sail and check that all was well.

I then finished the washing and watched a thunderstorm circling Cagliari in the distance; fortunately the rain did not arrive here.

Richard has been restowing all the kit in the outside lazerettes and finishing odd maintenance items about the boat as he went.  It has been a bit of a challenge as we have a few additional items to stow including a large coil of rope from the closing down sale in the chandlery.

Early evening Chris popped around for a look at the watermaker, he just about managed to clamber on board past the all the debris in the cockpit.

After dinner we had Cape and Wandering Dragon over for drinks.  We are not sure where the time went but, before we knew it, it was 2am
