Thursday 21^st August – Cala Blava, Mallorca – Porto Petro, Mallorca (Closing the circle)

This morning we were up early for our trip round the coast here to Porto Petro. 

We said a final farewell to Moonshadow and the two boats made their separate ways – Pyxis heading south and Moonshadow heading north.

Along the south-west coast the wind was light but on the nose and so we motored to Punta Salinas.  On the way we passed Ensenada de la Rápita, our first anchorage on arriving at Mallorca, and completed our circumnavigation of the island.

Once around the corner at Punta Salinas we were able to set sail and close haul up the coast to Porto Petro.

This afternoon we have picked up a buoy and checked with the harbour master that it is not already reserved so we know that we are OK tonight.  We have also checked our log book – it is exactly two months since we first visited here.
