Sunday 9th September – On Passage

43:45.050N 6:41.015W

We said goodbye to Gijon at midday today and set off for pastures new.  We really liked Gijon; lovely town, good marina, and, with only a few of us staying in the marina, all for quite a while, we got to know those around us – we leave friends behind, but hope we will see them again later.

Two other boats left today heading in the same direction.  They are off to our port side at the moment.  They are persevering with sails but, as we were only making 3 knots under sail, we decided to donk on.

The three of us decided to move on as there is a short weather window forecast before another tranche of strong winds.

We are about to start our overnight watch routine.
