Hey, guess what, another hot and sunny day.  We had a quiet day reading, catching up on the internet, wandering around to visit the neighbours, and going to the chandlery in the nearby boatyard (a fairly substantial one with practical ‘boaty’ items rather than a fashion boutique, and with outlying hangers containing more items if you ask for something you cannot see on the shelves).

The downside to being here (there has to be one, doesn’t there) is that some mosquitoes have started to appear.  We spent last night on watch, in bed, listening for the whine of an approaching mossie.  I’ve killed a couple but if it gets any worse it’ll be out with the DEET.

This evening I’ve done a bookswap with Vicky on Nocturne so we each now have a few different books to read.  Also, a couple of other boats we know have turned up here today.
