Monday 9^th March – Cagliari (Sun, blue skies, and a howling gale)

The sun was out and it was very hot in the cockpit enclosure.  However, to counter this there was a force 8 gusting force 9 outside and we were bouncing around quite a bit in the fetch.

This morning Richard went off to do some chandlery shopping and get some bits for the bikes whilst I went to the gazebo for art class – this gave us some respite from bouncing around on Pyxis.  The wind was so loud in the gazebo that we could hardly hear anything anyone said.

This evening we have had a night in; the wind continues to howl and promises to rock us to sleep again tonight.
