Friday 14^th November – Cagliari (Pizza Emporium)

It didn’t rain today; in fact this morning it was so hot and sunny that I got my bikini out again J  By the afternoon, things had settled down and it was time to put some clothes back on. 

Richard fitted the passerelle so that we can get on and off the boat easily – until now I have been leaping ashore/ aboard as we are moored quite a way off the pontoon in case of high winds.  We have it rigged so the shore end is supported by a length of shock cord so it only drops onto the pontoon when you walk on it.  We were getting a bit of grief from the neighbours about it needing some lights to finish it off – needless to say we now have the only passerelle on the pontoon with solar courtesy lights fitted.

This evening we had dinner aboard Wandering Dragon with Cape – it was the inaugural night of the Wandering Dragon Pizza Emporium.  The children had made up menus for the evening with different toppings – it looked very professional.  The pizzas were very good and everyone well fed by the end.

After that we wandered up to the bar for a quick drink to catch up with folk.
