This morning there was a tiny shower of rain; not enough to get us wet but disturbing nevertheless.  Luckily it disappeared quickly and normal service was resumed.

Today I received a few emails.  Thank you everyone for filling me in on the ‘sport thingy’ we missed last night (especially Pierre, who we met in La Coruna, who was very gracious given the result).  It was England beating France in the rugby that we could hear the cheers for, and obviously, had we known, we would have been there to cheer our lads on.  Perhaps I’d better find out when the final is, maybe even who we will be playing!

Richard had the delight of fixing the bow heads (toilet) today; the outlet pipe had become totally blocked with limescale build-up.  This involved taking off the old pipe and attaching a new one; any further detail on that would be too much information, suffice to say that all is now OK.

After lunch we saw Jurmo off on their next adventure.  They are now on passage down to Lanzarote, 540 miles away, and then on to the other Canary Islands.

Finally we relaxed on deck in the afternoon sun with a book for a while.
