Thursday 20th March – Chipiona

This morning we awoke to torrential rain and thunderstorms.  We stayed on board in the cockpit enclosure, watching the black clouds roll over us throwing lightning, thunder and hail stones at us.

This afternoon the rain cleared leaving a blue sky but it was still a little cold.

This evening we went into town to watch the Semana Santa procession; there were two floats being paraded around town, each accompanied by a small band.  We were pleased that the rain had abated in time for it.

Afterwards we came back to Pyxis and into the warm as we got quite cold standing outside the church.
