Saturday 19^th April – Barbate

Last night the weather was a bit quieter than we expected and we managed to get some sleep (only 25-30 knots of wind with no heavy rain until about 7am).  This morning the wind and rain continued so we abandoned our planned trip inland. 

Richard was able to make a quick trip to the supermarket for a few stores between the showers whilst I got on with the obligatory ship cleaning duties.  We then spent the late afternoon playing cards on Moonshadow.

This evening we have had a night in with a DVD that we have not seen yet, but it is not a particularly good one and so I am able to write my blog as the film drones on…

Meanwhile the wind and rain soldier on with gusto!
