After a quiet morning we had a visit from David on Cape.  He told us of a deal on mattresses in one of the nearby hypermarkets; they had bought one yesterday when they had gone shopping and he had just cut it down to fit their bunk; Sarah was busy re-stitching the cover on it.  We went to inspect - very smart.

The underside of our mattress has suffered from some mildew over the humid winter and we have been considering replacing it.  After a nanosecond of thought, we took one of the marina cars and sped off to the hypermarket and managed to get the last one from the shelf.

Whilst we were there with the car we also stocked up with some of the bulky items for the boat.  We then spotted some reasonably priced prawns on the fish-counter and, since it’s been a while, we decided to do the prawn and baguette routine this evening.

On our return to the marina, we carefully carried our purchases back to Pyxis in the stiff breeze.  Richard was sent to change his glasses for his spare pair and put on a lanyard before his best pair went swimming again.

Having stowed everything Richard went to check that England were still winning against Scotland in the rugby, and then we had dinner;  it has turned cold again this evening.

After dinner we went to Cape to commiserate with David over a small glass of wine as Wales apparently did not win against Ireland in the rugby this afternoon nor win the Six Nations Cup.
