Saturday 8^th August – Vlikho Bay, Levkas

This morning we were down below when we heard a loud whistle and an ‘Ahoy Pyxis’ – Anna and Charlie of Star Dance had arrived in Vlikho Bay having just travelled down from Preveza.  We last met up with them in Siracusa when we made a flying visit on our way back down to Malta.  They anchored up and came over for a chat and we gave them the introduction to Vlikho and Nidri.

Whilst we were chatting, another yacht came in and anchored near our stern; we thought we recognised the name Gin Rummy and realised that it was Simon and Katie from Cagliari – later we went to say hello and catch up with them.

Late afternoon, when it had cooled down a bit, we took Anna and Charlie up to Nidri with us in the dinghy for a wander around and a bit of shopping.  We then came back to Pyxis for some food; we chatted until late – it was really good to see them and catch up on their travels.
