Friday 20^th July – River Yealm (Newton Ferrers)

We stayed in this beautiful river for the day and enjoyed lovely sunshine.  We tackled some more of the many remaining jobs – so we now have dodgers in place (bits of canvas down the side of the boat to help prevent spray coming into the cockpit), a lee cloth fitted to the bunk (to stop you falling out of bed when the boat is leaning sideways), and the smoke alarm has eventually made it from the shelf by the chart table onto the wall.  We had something other than mackerel for dinner.
