Saturday 10^th July – Órmos Navarínou, Peloponnese

We had a quiet breakfast at anchor and then went for a dinghy ride to the gap at the top of the bay where the water is less than a metre deep and leads out to the sea.  It definitely wouldn’t be possible to pass through there with Pyxis – there were times we had to make a detour with the dinghy to get through!

We passed by the path leading up to the castle, Paleokastro, but we had seen the notice yesterday about it being closed as it was dangerous and so decided to skip the hardy climb up the hill on this occasion.

Late this afternoon we fired up the BBQ in the cockpit and had an early evening BBQ before sunset – lovely.
