Friday 28^th August – Iris Hotel, Nidri, Levkas – Port Atheni, Meganissi

Today we said farewell to Hotel Iris and its staff – we have had a lovely time but as it is the weekend we need to vacate the berths for the returning charter fleet; it is also time to move on and find other beautiful places to stay.

We hopped over to Meganissi, a frequent destination for us these days, and have found a rather nice spot in Port Atheni, the next bay down from Abelike.  Once again we are anchored off the shore with tailed lines ashore.  It is not as busy as Abelike and we have enjoyed an afternoon swimming, sunbathing and reading, with barely a minute to spare!
