This morning we reviewed the current unsettled and changing weather forecast.  Although it looked possible to make a passage, we have decided to leave it for a while to let the unsettled weather out in the Atlantic decide what it is going to do.  We will start looking for a weather window again in a couple of days’ time.

After spending the last couple of days preparing the boat for a passage, we relaxed and had a quiet day catching up with e-mails and other folk at the marina.

This evening there was a talk on multi-meters organised by the social club at the marina.  It was held at a nearby leisure centre.  Stephen and Richard thought it would be interesting and went along; Anne and I tagged along and had a drink outside by the pool as we have no interest in multi-meters whatsoever and sat chatting to others with a like mind.

After a couple of hours, we decided to leave them to it as it looked like it was going to be a long night and we came back to the boats; it was turning a bit chilly!
