Sunday 22^nd March – Cagliari  (Mothering Sunday)

Today we called our mothers to wish them a happy Mothers’ Day having sent them each an original ‘Karen’ during the week.

This afternoon we set to with our new mattress.  We have managed to cut it to the rather interesting shape of our bed with the help of my kitchen knife.  As it was getting late, cold and dark by the time we finished, re-stitching the cover will have to be tackled another day.

We’ve had a quiet night in, shivering by the heaters.
