Saturday 25th June – Yalova

40:39.680N 29:16.603E

This morning we went across to the market and bought more fresh fruit and vegetables than I know what to do with.  It just all looked so tempting and such a good price.

On the way back we popped into reception and asked if they would call the registration people for us, as that is where the problem lies in our view, in the hope that they might have more success.  The chap at reception rang around the various departments for us and got the same story – everything is registered and should be working.  He even called his friend who is an expert in these matters (works for the competition) who then insisted on popping down to have a look.  He has encountered a similar case; that time they had to apply for the phone to be de-registered and then re-registered – it eventually sorted the problem but took a long time.  Expediency means we will probably have to buy a Turkish dongle on Monday or maybe we will start again with a complete new SIM and dongle package with another supplier.

There is a yacht rally at the marina this weekend and this afternoon the yachts have been turning up and have filled the pontoon opposite.  The crews have been bussed off to visit Termal late afternoon and this evening a dinner has been organised for them, sitting out on the quay beside the fish restaurant.  Sadly some rain has arrived to dampen their feast tonight.
