Sunday 16th March – Mazagón

37:07.901N 6:49.876W

After a long sleep following yesterday’s sail, we had a late breakfast on deck.

Early this afternoon we set off with Moonshadow by bike to explore Mazagón and the surrounding area – adjacent is a national park covering the coast between here and Chipiona – so we cycled out along the coast road looking at the pine trees and colourful flowers.  It is a dry area and there were cacti and other succulents in flower.

Once out of town we cycled down to the beach and found a bar for a drink overlooking the bay.

Later we headed back into town itself, stopping for a coffee and visiting the lighthouse, before heading back to the marina.

This evening, after a sundowner on deck, we have relaxed with a DVD.
