The title for today is ‘Boys and their Toys’.  This morning, the three guys decided to take the dinghies out to play (and to see of course which of the ‘rubber boats’ went fastest).  There was quite a bit of swell out beyond the harbour entrance which provided added entertainment.

The girls stood on the foot bridge taking pictures and remarking how happy the boys were messing around in the water.  With a 3 knot speed limit to observe around the marina, a favourite ploy seemed to be going around in circles and blipping the throttle to create just enough wash to get each other wet!

‘Formula One’ Peter had won the return run and treated us all to a coffee which turned out to be a bottle of rosado (plus coffee).

This afternoon Richard went shopping to the chandlery whilst I relaxed in the sun with a book.  Also this afternoon, Richard fixed the oven, which has been playing up, but tonight when I tried to use it, it started playing up again, so it’s back to the drawing board.

Tonight I used my pressure cooker that I brought back from UK to cook some potatoes – wow, we’ll be living on boiled spuds now I can cook them in 5 minutes.  I guess I’ll have to see what else I can put in it, though we are still trying to figure out if we are using it correctly as we don’t have the instruction book any more.
