Thursday 7th August – Cala de Santa Ponsa, Mallorca (Paguera)

This lunchtime we tackled some mundane tasks like going into Santa Ponsa to replace the gaz bottle and to check for some post we are expecting at the post office; good news on the gaz but the post has yet to arrive.

Late afternoon we went along the coast by rib-boat to the nearby town of Paguera with Peter & Carola.  With an onshore wind the swell was a little bouncy getting out of the bay but no so bad once we were underway.

After some pizza we went for an evening walk down the main thoroughfare which is very long and packed with restaurants, bars, shops and people.  The place seems a bit more upmarket and more attractive than Santa Ponsa.

We sat and listened to a duo performing in one of the bars before a late run back to the anchorage.  By now the wind and swell had dropped away giving a pleasant run back in the light from the moon.
