Today I had a washing day.  The weather was not ideal – the sky was grey and the easterly wind continued.  I had to put the washing out between light showers to start with.  This afternoon the sky cleared though the wind has remained and I was able to finish the washing but it felt like it had been a hard slog to get through it all.

Early evening Richard ventured into town to replace the Gaz bottle and has explored a little further.

This evening we have had a quiet night in with a DVD.  It was a film about the Bounty and at one point we were not sure if the wind we could hear was on the DVD as part of the scene around Cape Horn or whether it was real; we muted the film to check – unfortunately it was indeed howling here in the marina – Cape Horn was fine!
