A quieter day today finding our way around Almerimar. 

It is very hot and sunny during the afternoons here at the moment but the nights get very humid.

Richard went out by bike to the marina office to sort out the wifi and local transport, and to locate the supermarket, chandleries and bus stop.

This afternoon I took a local bus to the nearest town (10 minutes away) to go to the tourist information office there.  On the way back to Pyxis, I visited the on-site supermarket, which is surprisingly good and bought us the old favourite ‘prawns and baguette’ for supper.

Whilst I was away, Richard cleaned the decks and cockpit enclosure of a very dirty Pyxis after her travels – we’d forgotten that she has a white hull!

Tonight we started to rewatch a DVD that Richard fell asleep watching the other night, until he fell asleep again - and so had a relatively early night.
