Tuesday 21st October – Cagliari

This morning Richard joined Roger and Liz on Sea Blaze for a short run across the harbour to the fuel dock.  Once alongside they discovered that the fuel there was particularly expensive so decided that perhaps now was not a good time to fill the tanks and just put a small amount in instead.

We do not know why but the price is 36 cents a litre more expensive than it was in Mahon and we thought Mahon was expensive compared to Mallorca; it is also 20 cents or so more expensive than the fuel at the car fuel station here in Cagliari!

Later we went into to town for a few supplies and a visit to the chandlery.

This evening we invited Roger and Liz over for drinks before dinner.  It was great to be able to catch up with them as we have previously been like ships passing in the night, chatting briefly at the BBQ parties.
