This morning we were up early and off with Cape to visit the waterfalls signposted from Nidri town.  We went early to avoid the heat of the day, calling for pastries for breakfast to eat en route. It was a very pleasant walk with lots of interesting local produce growing in the small-holdings along the way and also wild at the side of the road.  We saw pomegranates, walnuts and blackberries as well as the more expected olive and lemon/lime trees.

At the waterfall we dipped our feet in but were going no further as the water felt very cold.  On the return trip we stopped at a local taverna for a drink before continuing back to Nidri.

It was Sarah’s birthday so this afternoon Bethany came round and we made her a cake.  Afterwards I gave Richard’s hair a trim – this time making sure that the clippers were on the right setting.

This evening we all (Cape, Pyxis and Cirrusly Blue) went off to Vlikho Yacht Club for a birthday dinner.  We had a really good evening, finishing off on Robin and Angie’s boat – and another late night.
