Wednesday 26th September – Figueira Da Foz

A busy morning completing the laundry and then off to visit the fabulous indoor market next to the marina to buy fresh fish and meat for dinner.  I couldn’t resist the fruit and veg too, so poor Richard will be suffering fruit salad for a week.

We then had a further explore of Fig Foz (as they spell it on the back of the local boats).  It’s a strange town.  There are lots of new, modern apartment complexes adjacent to dilapidated (and sometimes derelict), formerly beautiful, old buildings; not really sure what the place is trying to be.

A quiet night in with another video; we are all off tomorrow (if the current howling wind subsides as forecast).
