Over night the wind eased and then it became still by morning, some swell found its way in to rock us to sleep (and then wake Richard up at 1.30 am) but then it gradually eased.

This morning after breakfast most of the anchorage upped and left, and we have spent the day in a quiet and tranquil setting.

Late morning Star Dance arrived and Richard went across in the dinghy to assist with taking their lines ashore; in the process he managed to embed a couple of splinters (or something) in his foot on the rocks and so came back to tweezer them out and apply the Betadine.

After catching up on some admin, we spent the afternoon swimming, sunbathing and reading and generally enjoying the peace of the anchorage. The anchorage has not filled up so much tonight so all is very quiet – lovely!

Late afternoon we went across to see Anna and Charlie for a sundowner; I enjoyed a couple of rather good G&T’s and Richard some beer before heading back to Pyxis for dinner.
